The Henry B. Plant Museum at the University of Tampa (401 W Kennedy Blvd) stands as one of the region’s most beautiful venues, offering a fascinating glimpse into local history. Each holiday season, the museum transforms for peaceful Victorian Christmas Strolls, with elegant decor that brings the past to life.
For 43 years, the museum has enchanted visitors with its holiday strolls. What began as a modest, three-evening event has evolved over four decades into a month-long celebration of extravagance and grandeur. This holiday experience offers a captivating look at the magic of Christmases past, making it a perfect way to embrace the season’s joys. The decorations, both grand and intricate, feature visitor favorites from past years, along with new displays and themes that are sure to dazzle and delight.
Visitors can enjoy an early and less crowded view of decorations from November 23 through December 31. Tickets can be reserved in advance online.
The Victorian Christmas Stroll celebrates the warmth and spirit of an old-fashioned holiday while fostering a sense of community. Each day, guests can enjoy complimentary cider and cookies on the veranda as holiday music fills the air. Visitors can also shop in the Museum Store’s Victorian setting, ideal for finding unique treasures and gifts for the season.
