California-based pizza chain, Mountain Mike’s, expands into the Sunshine State

Known for its crispy, curly pepperonis and signature 20″ (mountain-sized) pizzas, Mountain Mike’s, a popular California-based chain, is making its way to Florida. Spearheaded by Mountain Mike’s franchisee and CEO of BizBox Restaurant Group, Sean Morrison, and Ned Algeo, Founder of Multipli Capital, this 10-unit deal will bring Mountain Mike’s to Tampa, Sarasota, and Orlando.

Jim Metevier, CEO of Mountain Mike’s Pizza, shared, “We expect Mountain Mike’s to reach new heights in Florida’s booming, entrepreneurial economy, and we are confident that new guests throughout the state will appreciate and enjoy our high-quality menu offerings, unmatched dine-in experience, and community involvement.”

Founded in 1978, Mountain Mike’s is known for its family-style service, offering all-you-can-eat pizza buffets, salad bars, arcade games, and party rooms.
